About the destination
Walk the historic hilltop
Beli stands above the eastern coast of northern Cres. Follow its stone lanes and small churches, and use the official village guide to locate the Roman bridge west of the settlement. The woodland setting belongs to Tramuntana, the island’s northern landscape. The harbour and pebble beach lie below the old centre, so plan time for the descent and return.
Visit the vulture centre
The Beli Visitor Centre explains local nature and griffon vultures, while its associated rescue facility cares for injured birds. Choose the visitor exhibition or ask about educational activities; care areas have controlled access. Observe wild birds from a distance without approaching nesting cliffs. A centre visit is useful even when no vultures are visible overhead.
Choose a Tramuntana walk
Forest paths and the Tramuntana labyrinths offer an outing beyond the village. Select a marked route and return point before leaving, with walking shoes and drinking water.
Arrange food and a northern base
The island accommodation guide includes Beli among its room and apartment locations. Compare a hilltop address with one near the shore, and ask your host about meals in the village. The island restaurant list also helps plan a meal in Cres town, or on a separate outing to Valun. For a local cultural date, select Beli in the Cres events programme.
