Begin with the castle park

Walk through the park around the Pejačević castles before going indoors. The Great and Small castles form one historic estate, but a park stroll and a museum visit are different experiences. Old trees, paths and the pond give the walk a quieter character. Use the setting to understand the noble family’s role in Našice, then choose how much time you want to spend with the museum presentation.

Music and the town streets

Dora Pejačević’s musical legacy gives the castle visit a personal thread beyond architecture. Continue into town towards the Franciscan Church of St Anthony of Padua, leaving time for the streets between the main stops. Check the museum programme and ask about access to the church.

Lapovac is a separate excursion

Lake Lapovac offers another side of the area outside the centre: walking, cycling and fishing rather than castle rooms and town streets. Arrange the outward and return journey before setting out, especially if arriving in Našice without a car. The lake is not a formally managed bathing beach. Choose a waterside outing on its own merits and ask the managing fishing association about permits if you intend to fish.

For a short stay, a central address keeps the castle, park and town walk together.
