About the destination
Plan a beach day on western Čiovo
Okrug is a municipality on the western side of Čiovo, a few kilometres from Trogir; it includes Okrug Gornji and Okrug Donji. The island is linked by bridge to Trogir’s old town, so you can combine a seaside stay with a visit to the historic centre. The best-known local beach is Copacabana, also called Toć, while the county tourism board also lists Rožac, Labaduša, Mavarštica and Bočići. Its description notes a pebbly coast with pine and tamarisk. Use the official Okrug guide to compare beach areas and choose a base in either settlement.
Add a local walk or boat outing
For a slower look at the area, explore stone houses, fields and olive groves, or visit the Racetini summer house, St John’s castle or St Tudor church. Local konobas are a way to try Dalmatian seafood and wine. The tourism board also points to short boat trips and sea activities near the islets of Kraljevac and St Eufemija; check local operators for current departures and conditions. Okrug is a distinct destination from Trogir, even though the bridge makes the neighbouring old town an easy addition to your plans. See the Trogir Tourist Board’s Čiovo overview for island context.
