Choose your beach distance

For bathing near the centre, compare Rot with Molo Lozna at the eastern end of the village. The official beach guide places sandy Lovrečina about four kilometres east of Postira. That bay combines beach time with early Christian archaeological remains. Treat the journey as part of the outing, including the return; the local shore gives a simpler option when you want to stay close to meals and accommodation.

Go inland to Dol

The nearby village of Dol has its own setting of stone-roofed houses and surrounding hills. Make it a separate visit for village lanes and local food, including hrapoćuša cake associated with Dol. Ask about the meal or tasting you want when arranging the outing. Dol is a chance to explore Postira’s farming hinterland.
