Make Prizidnica an outing

The church of Our Lady of Prizidnica occupies a dramatic coastal setting on the southern side of Čiovo. It is a destination across the island from the village waterfront. For a visit inside or a religious celebration, ask about the relevant arrangements; the sea views and the setting also form part of the experience.

Choose the cycling route deliberately

Split Tourist Board’s Prizidnica cycling route links Slatine, the shrine area and Kava beach over 12.2 kilometres, with much of the route on gravel. Its climbs and surfaces call for a suitable bicycle and confidence beyond a flat waterfront ride. Read the route profile before choosing it. A beach stop at Kava can be part of the outing, with water and sun protection carried from the start.

Road access across Čiovo is another option.
