Start with the thermal water
Thermal springs brought visitors to Tuheljske Toplice and remain at the heart of Terme Tuhelj. Give the pools a generous part of the day, or build a stay around bathing and wellness. The surrounding hills offer a change of scene when you want to leave the water.
Eat beside Mihanović manor
Mihanović manor stands beside the spa area and houses a restaurant. Places to eat in Tuheljske Toplice also include Luminis and Noć i Dan. A meal here can connect a morning in the pools with an afternoon outing, without turning the day into a long drive between stops.
Head up to Velika Erpenja
Southeast of the spa settlement, the Three Kings Church in Velika Erpenja stands above the surrounding hills. Justina, the mother of Antun Mihanović, is buried in the cemetery beside it. Add the church as a countryside outing. Nearby Tuhelj is another settlement, worth distinguishing from Tuheljske Toplice when planning the route.
