Rovinj in the rain: the House of Batana and a harbour break
Give the day one museum story, with the waterfront walk dependent on the weather.

Check the door before going
The House of Batana explores a local wooden boat and the community connected to it. For a rainy visit, first check that the museum is open when you plan to arrive. A seasonal timetable does not mean continuous opening throughout the day, so keep a coffee break available if there is a gap between sessions.
Follow one story
Focus on how the boat is built or how fishing shaped everyday life. You do not have to read every panel to leave with something memorable. If visiting together, each choose a detail you did not know and explain it to the other person after the visit.
Add the harbour if it clears
When the weather improves, take a short harbour walk and look for connections between the exhibition and the working town. A batana trip or dinner programme is not automatically included in a museum visit; check separate availability and booking arrangements. If the rain continues, find somewhere warm and skip the soggy photo session.
