Trogir City Museum
Trogir City Museum occupies the Garagnin-Fanfogna Palace beside the northern gate of the old town. The museum was founded in 1963 and opened to the public in 1966. Its permanent display follows the history of Trogir and its surroundings from prehistory to the early 20th century.

A closer look
The archaeological collection explores Greek and Roman Tragourion through finds from everyday life, travel and trade. Medieval and later rooms bring together documents, books, artworks and objects that trace the city’s changing culture. The palace complex also includes a lapidarium and the Cata Dujšin Ribar Gallery. The museum’s courtyard entrance is opposite the north gate; a separate ground-floor exhibition space faces the old town’s main street.
