The Governor’s Palace venue is currently closed to visitors for renovation to improve energy efficiency and for the museum’s relocation work. Before planning a visit, check the museum’s latest updates and visitor information. Programmes at other venues have their own dates and access arrangements.
The museum preserves the maritime and cultural heritage of Rijeka and the Croatian Littoral. Its historic home, the Governor’s Palace, was built between 1893 and 1896 to designs by Alajos Hauszmann.
