Lapidarium Museum, Novigrad
The Lapidarium Museum brings Novigrad’s stone heritage into a contemporary building in the old town. Its permanent collection holds archaeological fragments, mainly pre-Romanesque carvings from the former cathedral. Look for interlaced patterns, Christian symbols, animals and mythical creatures, as well as the Mauritius ciborium, a rare, largely preserved early medieval canopy.
