Island of Brač Museum
The Island of Brač Museum is in Škrip, a settlement whose archaeological remains span more than five millennia. Its museum complex brings together ambient historic buildings, sections of Illyrian walls, a Roman mausoleum and the Croatian Radojković tower.
A closer look
The lapidary includes Roman, late-antique and early-medieval architectural and sculptural monuments, including a relief of Hercules, finds from Mirje and a cast of the Povalja Threshold. Other rooms present ethnographic collections connected with Brač’s farming, livestock keeping and stone-working traditions, alongside household furnishings.
