Walk east and west from the harbour

Start on the harbour waterfront, then choose a direction for your first walk. The official Bol guide places Zlatni rat west of town and the Dominican monastery on the Glavica peninsula to the east. The beach’s pebble tip changes shape with waves and currents. The monastery adds archaeological and artistic context; enquire about its museum if you want an indoor visit. A central base makes it easier to alternate these two coastal outings.

Give Vidova gora its own plan

Above Bol, Vidova gora reaches 778 metres and looks down towards Zlatni rat. Road access and walking routes offer different ways to experience the mountain. For a hike, choose a marked route with an appropriate ascent and return distance, carrying water and allowing for the exposed terrain. This is a separate mountain outing, with its own footwear and weather considerations alongside the seaside part of your holiday.

Discover the waterfront wine tradition

On the riva, Stina winery offers tastings that introduce wines including Pošip and Plavac mali. Choose a tasting format and reserve directly with the producer. Combine it with time for dinner in town, checking whether the tasting includes small bites or whether you want a separate meal. Accommodation around the harbour and accommodation towards Zlatni rat give different starting points for the evening walk home.

Connect your island arrival

The Split-Supetar ferry is one way to reach Brač; Supetar is a different town from Bol, so include the onward island transfer in your arrival plan. Other boat services may use Bol itself. Check the destination port, vehicle arrangements and return sailing when selecting your journey, then match the booking to your accommodation location.
