Pula Arena

Pula’s Arena is a first-century Roman amphitheatre just outside the old city walls. Walk around its oval stone arcades and look for the four rectangular towers; the central space once hosted gladiatorial contests. The Archaeological Museum of Istria also presents an exhibition in the amphitheatre’s underground chambers.
